U.S. Anti-DPRK Human Rights Moves Denounced by Nepalese Figure

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Narayan Man Bijukchhe, chairman of the Central Committee of the Nepal Worker-Peasant Party, in his speech made at the meeting of the Constituent Assembly on Oct. 17 branded the U.S. as the worst human rights abuser in the world and accused its human rights moves against the DPRK. He said: The U.S. is forcing the independent states in the world to accept its view on value. It has applied unreasonable sanctions and put pressure on those countries which refuse to accept it by taking issue with their "human rights". Still unabated, however, are the human rights abuses by the U.S. and other Western countries. The U.S., in particular, is the world's worst human rights abuser. It is getting more undisguised in its moves to stifle the independent DPRK. This has laid a stumbling block in the socio-economic development and the improvement of the people's living. The Korean peninsula is still technically at war. A peace agreement has not been concluded and a war may break out any moment on the peninsula due to the U.S. The U.S. ceaseless moves to stifle the DPRK are the most wanton violation and challenge to the sovereignty and democratic development of the DPRK and to the rights of its people. |
