Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Praised by Peruvian Organization

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- The Peruvian Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il made public a statement on Oct. 9 on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of his election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the 69th anniversary of its founding and the 88th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU).

The statement said:

October 10 is the founding anniversary of the WPK, guiding force of the struggle for independence against imperialism and socialism.

President Kim Il Sung formed the DIU in October of 1926 and it became the historical roots of the glorious WPK.

He, who defeated the Japanese imperialists and liberated the country, founded the WPK, general staff of the revolution, and strengthened the leadership over the party in every way, leading to victory the Fatherland Liberation War, postwar reconstruction and socialist construction.

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung and wisely led the WPK to defend socialism and preserve revolutionary principle with his Songun politics.

Their exploits for leading the revolutionary party-building will be remembered long.

Now the WPK is fully demonstrating its might as an ever-victorious party, a mother party loved by the popular masses, under the outstanding guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Victory and glory are always in store for the WPK, vanguard unit of the revolution and construction and a paragon of world revolutionary political parties.
