S. Korean Authorities Accused of Its Moves for Retrogressive Reform of Pension

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea, in an editorial on Oct. 23 accused the authorities of its moves for retrogressive reform of the pension for the government employees.

The editorial said that the "government" is pushing ahead with the reform of pension for government employees in the direction of cutting it down.

It accused the "Saenuri Party" of trying to pass the bill on pension within the year.

Chaos and contradiction are being created between the "government" and government employees over pension reform, it said, adding:

We can never accept the bill on pension reform which the "government" and the "Saenuri Party" push ahead under the pretext of financial stability.
