Hills and Fields Relay Held

| Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- A hills and fields relay took place recently on Moran Hill in Pyongyang with the attendance of over 350 male and female marathoners from at least 30 sports teams, the first of its kind in the DPRK. The course was covering 5km-long uphill and 4km-long downhill. The Amnokgang Sports Team took the first place in men's relay and the April 25 Sports Team in women's. Jong Song Ok, secretary of the DPRK Marathon Association, told KCNA that the relay was conducive to raising the physical ability of marathoners, announcing that the association will organize such relay on a regular basis. |
