Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The Nepalese paper Arpan on Oct. 10 carried an article titled "Birds flock to Kumsusan Palace of Sun." The paper said: There is the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il lie in state in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPR of Korea. There is the Arboretum around it. The Arboretum has been built into a grand botanical museum and a general plant breeding farm representing the boundless reverence of all people for the peerless great men. It forms a forest with trees of different species distributed in various parts of Korea, trees for urban greening and rare trees presented by different countries. A European botanist praised the Arboretum as a world-class botanical museum associated with the sincerity and reverence of all people for the peerless great men, saying such arboretum can hardly be found in other places of the world. Birds of various species flock to roost at the Arboretum. |
