Slaboy January Guzowski, chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, was elected chairman of the memorial committee.

The committee decided to organize a remembrance meeting, seminar on exploits of Kim Jong Il and other political and cultural events on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his demise.
