Message of Sympathy to Egyptian President

| Pyongyang, October 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPR of Korea, Monday sent a message of sympathy to Abdel Fattah al－Sisi, president of Egypt, as regards the recent terrorist bombing attack at a local military checkpoint in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula that left many soldiers and people dead. Kim Yong Nam expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the president, government and people of Egypt and the families of the victims. It is the consistent and steadfast stand of the DPRK to oppose all forms of terrorism and any support for it, he said, adding that the DPRK government strongly condemns the terrorist act. He reaffirmed once again the invariable support and solidarity of the DPRK government with the friendly Egyptian government and people in their efforts to defend security and stability of the country and ensure national unity. |
