DPRK's Deep-sea Fishing Fleet Returns

Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- The deep-sea fishing fleet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea returned home after finishing the fishing of nearly 100 days in Russia's maritime territorial waters.

In the period, the fleet increased the fish catch 25 percent over last year's.

Song Chun Sop, chief engineer of the Sinpho Deep Sea Fishery Complex, told KCNA that this year the fleet began its deep-sea fishing 45 days earlier than last year and it consisted of scores of high-performance vessels and factory ships.
