S. Korean Broadcasting Deplores Authorities' Renunciation of OPECON
|
|
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean CBS reported on Oct. 25 that only the U.S. interest was met by the south Korean authorities' renunciation of the right to the wartime operation control (OPECON). There was a criticism that south Korea accepted most of the military and economic terms requested by the U.S. in return for agreeing on the postponement of the OPECON, the broadcasting service aired, and went on: The postponement of the OPECON was what was also sought by the U.S. However, south Korea proposed it first, making the U.S. have the upper hand in the negotiations and gain economic profits as well. It has thus become difficult for the "president" to evade the argument on her failure to fulfill her election commitment. |
