Nigerian Organization Introduces Korean Music Prodigies

Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism posted an article titled "Korean music prodigies" on its website on October 23. Music prodigies of the DPRK are drawing attention of the international community, the article said. It noted Ma Sin A arranged piano programs and skillfully played them, startling experts, Choe Jang Hung won the first youngest prize by successfully performing piano music requiring high artistry and playing skill in the 20th International Juvenile Chopin Piano Contest and 7-year-old Choe Ji Ye came first at the 2013-2014 piano concours. They graduated from the Kyongsang Kindergarten in Pyongyang, the article said, and went on: There is a particular early musical education system in the DPRK and the Kyongsang Kindergarten plays an important role. The kindergarten is like a cradle of worldwide music prodigies. |
