Present there from the DPRK side were Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and So Kil Bok, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, and from the Ugandan side were the minister of State for the Ministry of Health, the minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperation.

At the talks, both sides discussed the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and the issue of effecting practical cooperation in economy, culture and other fields.

Meanwhile, an agreement on cooperation between the foreign ministries of the DPRK and Uganda was signed on the same day.
