Reading sessions on works of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un, photo exhibition and film shows were held by the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Nigerian Group for Self-Reliance Studies and the Nigerian Franoson Mannyon International Company Ltd.

Displayed at the photo exhibition were photos documenting revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.

Also on display were photos showing the achievements made by the army and people of the DPRK in the building of a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

Films shown included Korean films "The Tower of the Juche Idea" and "Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification".

The chief of the Benin Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who doubles as rector of the Cotonou Institute of Journalism of Benin read Kim Jong Un's work "Let Us Brilliantly Accomplish the Revolutionary Cause of Juche, Holding Kim Jong Il in High Esteem as the Eternal General Secretary of Our Party". The chief said:

The image of Kim Jong Il is enshrined as the father of the nation and the eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea in the hearts of the Korean people who believed in him as in Heaven and the world people recognize this fact.

He is always remembered by the Korean people and the world progressive people.

The acting chairman of the Nigerian Group for Self-Reliance Studies praised Kim Jong Il for providing a great programme for the national reunification and energetically leading the struggle to implement it, after reading his work "Let Us Reunify the Country Independently and Peacefully through the Great Unity of the Entire Nation".
