A member of the leadership of the Communist Party of Denmark and the chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association were elected co-chairmen of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his demise.
