What has played a key role in this service is the Sports Science Library in Pyongyang.

The library directs primary efforts to collecting latest data on sports science, urgently needed for the development of the nation's sports technique, in close touch with the State Academy of Sciences and local sports teams and related units. At present, a work is going on to rapidly introduce the collected data to all sports units through local network.

And it has worked hard to steadily improve its service in keeping with specific conditions of different units across the country.

Besides, the library is busy with a work to set up a new information service network for the development of mass sports events.
