Malian President on Relations with DPRK
|
|
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, president of the Republic of Mali, received credentials from Kim Jun Gap, DPRK ambassador to his country, on Oct. 24. He said: I, on behalf of the Malian government and people, heartily wish the fraternal Korean people greater successes in their efforts to build a thriving nation and reunify the country independently and peacefully under the wise guidance of the respected HE Kim Jong Un. The friendly and cooperative relations between Mali and the DPRK are a precious treasure provided by the great President Kim Il Sung and HE Modibo Keita, the first president of Mali. Modibo Keita visited the DPRK in October 1964, met with Kim Il Sung and received his precious instructions, an important occasion in the political structure and economic development of the Malian society. We will remember forever the sincere assistance rendered by Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il to the government and people of the independent Mali in the political, economic, cultural and all other fields. I hope that the multilateral exchange and cooperation between the two countries will grow stronger in the future. |
