Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- In Kaesong City of the DPRK there is a temple called Ryongthong, which dates back to the Koryo Dynasty (918-1392). The Ryongthong Temple, located in an area 10 kilometers away north of the city, has a five-storied pagoda, 6.48 meters high. The pagoda is built with well-trimmed granite stones on one platform whose width is 3.23 meters. This is one of the Korean nation's cultural heritages that show the high architecture in the early days of the Koryo Dynasty. |
