Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, and Rita Berger, chief of the Ostfold Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairmen of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize significant political and cultural events on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il.
