At the inaugural ceremony, the speakers said that the democratic movement is wantonly violated under the present regime and the forces who trample down justice are no more than a group of robbers.

They declared they would carry on the struggle against the ruling forces who seized power through illegal election and lend no ear to the demand for instituting a special law for probing the truth behind the disaster.

It said that young people would wage a ceaseless struggle for democracy in unity in the future just as they struggled against all kinds of pressure and inequality in the past.
