DPRK Player Grabs Two Gold Medals at World Weightlifting Championship

| Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Om Yun Chol grabbed gold medals at the 2014 World Weightlifting Championship on Nov. 8, retaining twice world title. The championship opened in Kazakhstan. It has brought together 530 ace men and women weightlifters from at least 70 countries including the DPRK and regions. Om Yun Chol successfully jerked 168 kg and lifted a total of 296 kg at the 56 kg category event. Gold medals were awarded to him. He is a gold medalist of the 30th Olympic Games and the title-holder of the 2013 World Weightlifting Championship. |
