U.S.-S. Korea Military Nexus Slammed by British Organizations

Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK made public a joint statement on Oct. 30 in protest against the U.S.-south Korean authorities' agreement on the indefinite extension of the transfer of the right to the wartime operation control (OPECON).

Some days ago, there took place the 46th U.S.-south Korea annual security consultative meeting in Washington in which an agreement was made to indefinitely postpone the OPECON which had been due by 2015, the statement said, and went on:

This agreement amounts to abandoning the sovereignty, and evidently shows that south Korea is nothing but a colony under the control and domination by the U.S. imperialists.

We fully support the DPRK's call for taking a resolute action against the agreement.

The peace-loving progressives all over the world should send support to the Korean people in their struggle to defend the national sovereignty and achieve complete independence.
