Probe into Truth about Ferry Sewol Disaster Demanded in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- 65 civic and public organizations of south Korea struggling for the probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster held a press conference before the building of the "National Assembly" on Nov. 6 at which they declared that they would stage an action demanding the institution of a proper special law, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Chamsesang.

The speakers said that the bereaved families and citizens have so far conducted a sit-in in demand of the institution of a special law for the probe into the truth about the ferry disaster.

The organizations in a press release called on the people of various circles to probe the truth about the disaster without fail through solidarity activities in the future, too, as they have struggled for the institution of a special law for more than 200 days.

They will vote down in the next election the politicians obstructive to the probe into the truth, they warned.
