The south Korean authorities, however, in a "statement" expressed "strong regret," asserting that "the north's statement was falsification of a fact." They are misleading the public opinion by creating impression that the second round of the north-south high-level contact was aborted due to the attitude of the north, urging it to withdraw "unreasonable preconditions" and "change its stand."

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in an article in this regard:

"Falsification of a fact" and "unreasonable preconditions" touted by the south Korean authorities are nothing but sophism intended to cover up their confrontational nature and justify their provocations to the DPRK.

The puppet authorities are employing such a crafty method as wire-pulling and helping human scum and ultra-right conservative organizations behind the scene in the leaflet scattering operations.

All facts go to clearly prove that the puppet authorities are the arch criminals escalating the leaflet scattering operations against the DPRK and the south Korean chief executive is their backstage wirepuller.

The south Korean authorities are wholly to blame for the chilled atmosphere of mending the inter-Korean relations though it had been created with much effort and for their plunge into another abyss of catastrophe as they have connived, shielded and encouraged human scum's leaflet scattering operations.

If the south Korean authorities persistently pursue hostility towards the compatriots and confrontation with the DPRK, far from drawing a lesson from the present catastrophe of the north-south relations, this will only precipitate their shameful destruction.
