Attending the 5 day-long contest, divided into individual and team events, were more than 40 men and women parachutists.

Men and women parachutists of the Pyongyang Air Club took the first places in all events.

Kang Hye Sim, a silver medalist of an international contest held in September this year, finished first at the women's individual event.

Kang Hyo Nam, secretary of the Korean Aviation Association, told KCNA that many parachutists proved successful in the contest.

Meanwhile, parachutists of the Sinuiju Air Club won gold medals at individual events in the accuracy landing contest for the National Youth Championship.
