Andre Aubry, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events in praise of Kim Jong Il's noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his demise.
