S. Korean Authorities Urged to Stop Hoguk Military Drills
Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- Hoguk war exercises that were kicked off in south Korea on Nov. 10 targeting the DPRK are deliberate provocations to escalate the military confrontation and push the north-south relations to a catastrophe, says Minju Joson Wednesday in a commentary.

Whenever the puppet forces staged Hoguk and other war exercises against the DPRK, the military confrontation between the north and the south was escalated and a touch-and-go situation created on the Korean Peninsula, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The puppet group is now staging madcap war drills under the pretext of coping with the "north's provocation of a local war" and "its all-out war".

The second corps of the puppet army launched field mobile exercises in the areas of Chunchon and Hwachon in south Korean Kangwon Province with huge troops involved. The eighth corps is conducting drills for carrying out an operational plan in the coastal areas of six cities and counties in the province. Other corps are involved in Hoguk.

No one can vouch that they will not spill over into a war against the DPRK any moment as puppet warmongers are busy with saber-rattling in all areas along the Military Demarcation Line to invade it.

If they fire even a single shell at the territory of the DPRK, its army and people will mercilessly punish them as they had already warned.

The puppet forces should stop the adventurous Hoguk war exercises at once, keenly aware of the gravity of the situation.
