Chongryon Officials Delegation Meets with Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoner

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A delegation of officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan led by Choe Il Gyong, department director of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, met with Choe Thae Guk, pro-reunification patriotic fighter and former unconverted long-term prisoner, on Wednesday. Choe Thae Guk said that he waged an indomitable struggle against the enemy behind bars for decades. His profound trust in the party and the leader served as a basic source that helped him remain a man of dauntless spirit at the crossroads of life and death, he said, adding: He enjoyed a worthwhile life as an indomitable pro-reunification patriotic fighter and DPRK hero under the loving care of leader Kim Jong Il and is still leading a happy life under the warm care of Marshal Kim Jong Un. Choe Il Gyong said that he was greatly inspired by the fighting spirit of the pro-reunification patriotic fighters who remained true to their revolutionary principle to the last. He pledged to dynamically follow the road of Juche and patriotism, rallied close around Kim Jong Un, who is creditably carrying forward and accomplishing the cause of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. At the meeting, there was an art performance given by former unconverted long-term prisoners and their families and members of the delegation. |
