DPRK Weightlifter Wins Gold Medal in 2014 World Weightlifting Championship

| Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- Ri Jong Hwa, a DPRK woman weightlifter, won a gold in the women's 58kg category event of the 2014 World Weightlifting Championship. She lifted 133kg in the clean and jerk Nov. 11 to come first and placed second in total points to grab a silver. DPRK weightlifter Kim Myong Hyok came third in the clean and jerk and in total points in the 69kg category event held on Nov. 10. |
