Eldar Rasulov, chairman of the Uzbekistan-DPRK Friendship Forum, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to widely introduce the great revolutionary life of Kim Jong Il and his immortal exploits and hold diverse political and cultural events including a seminar and film show on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his demise.
