This saber rattling was staged under the pretext of coping with "a provocation".

The 11th mechanized infantry division of the puppet army staged a large river-crossing drill in the area of Ryoju, Kyonggi Province on Nov. 12 under the simulated conditions of actual battle against the DPRK. More than 200 combat equipment including artillery pieces, aircraft, armored cars and tanks were involved in it.
