Igor Jurisic, chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the committee.

On the 3rd anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il the committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising his revolutionary career and exploits and introducing the DPRK developing under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
