Small Wind-Driven Generators in Effective Use
|
|
Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- Efforts have been paid in the DPRK to harness wind force for electric generation. As part of the efforts, it has been pushed forward throughout the country to introduce small wind-driven generators into electric-power production. Among the generators, which enjoy great popularity, are mini- and small-sized generators developed by the Electricity Institute under the State Academy of Sciences and Kim Chaek University of Technology. Those generators have already proved effective in generating electricity after their introduction in revolutionary sites and revolutionary battle sites in Ryanggang Province and many households in different parts of the country. Now rural areas are taking the lead in installing the generators. Meanwhile, successes have been achieved in developing generators with larger output. |
