We will soon greet the 3rd anniversary of demise of Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK.

The exploits he performed by frustrating the imperialists' aggression, highhanded and arbitrary practices and defending peace and security on the Korean Peninsula with his original Songun politics will go down in history.

He foiled the U.S. military provocations and every attempt at aggression with his matchless grit and pluck.

He won a decisive victory in the nuclear showdown with the U.S. under the unfurled banner of Songun after being elected chairman of the NDC, providing a sure guarantee for defending peace not only on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia but in the rest of the world.

The undying feats performed by him are always shining thanks to Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK.

We are firmly convinced that the WPK and the Korean people will defend the sovereignty of the country and global peace and achieve the final victory in the drive for building a thriving socialist nation under the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
