They were greeted at Pyongyang Railway Station by Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Yong Hun, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, Choe Yong Nam, director of the General Bureau of Public Service who is chairman of the Weightlifting Association, officials concerned and sportspersons.

When the bus carrying them passed along streets, Pyongyangites congratulated them on their spectacular successes in the championship.

They visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill to pay floral tribute to them.
