Kim Jong Il Remembered in Different Countries

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings and photo and book exhibitions took place in Finland, Poland and Myanmar from Nov. 13 to 15 on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il. On display in the venues of the events were photos documenting the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also displayed there were their works, and photos and books introducing the achievements made by the army and people of the DPRK in building a thriving socialist nation. Juha Kieksy, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il formulated the Juche idea as great Kimilsungism and developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious party guided by the Juche idea. Antti Sika Aho, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, noted that the exhibition provided an opportunity to know better about the noble revolutionary career and undying feats of Kim Jong Il and deeply cherish boundless reverence for him. Slaboy January Guzowski, chairman of the Central Committee of the Poland-Korea Association, praised Kim Jong Il as the most distinguished leader who made great contributions to socialism, the human cause of independence and global peace and security for a long period. A member of the Central Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar said that Kim Jong Il passed away but his immortal revolutionary life and exploits always remained in the hearts of the Korean people and the progressives. |
