Rodong Sinmun Discloses Deceptive Nature of Obama's Initiative

Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The U.S. reportedly decided to invest 30 billion U.S. dollars in remolding nuclear weapons control system in the years ahead. U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel in a recent press conference at the Defense Department building said they would invest 10 billion U.S. dollars within five years in improving the nuclear weapons operational system, noting the system is old and has several drawbacks in management. This is the open declaration of the U.S. intention to continuously consider nukes as a main means for realizing its ambition for world domination, and a blatant challenge to the aspiration of mankind. Rodong Sinmun Friday says this in an article. Noting that Obama's idea of building "a world without nuclear weapons" is nothing but honeyed words to deceive the world, the article goes on: The idea much touted by the U.S. is no more than a folding screen to cover up its ambition for dominating the world by dint of a nuclear edge. In other words, the U.S. rushes headlong into the road quite opposite to nuclear disarmament to become the only dominator of the world. What is ridiculous is that the U.S. took issue with the DPRK while pushing forward the modernization of its nuclear weapons. The U.S. military heavyweights said that nuclear weapons modernization would be of "big help" to deterring the nukes of North Korea. The reckless remarks revealing the true colors of a top class liar go to prove once again how just the DPRK was when it decided to bolster up its nuclear deterrence. All facts clearly prove the justness of the DPRK government's stance that there can never be the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula before the denuclearization of the world. |
