Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK released a joint statement on Nov. 9 denouncing the south Korean puppet group for staging the war maneuvers against the DPRK. The statement recalled that involved in provocative Hoguk drills which kicked off on Nov. 10 are at least 330 000 troops including the three services of the puppet army and marine corps, and U.S. imperialist aggressor forces. Detente is urgently needed on the Korean Peninsula at present and to this end the south Korean puppet clique should halt hostile acts against the DPRK, it held, and continued: Hoguk drills assume the danger of spilling over into an all-out war from military clashes. If the south Korean puppet clique truly wants peace and reunification, it should stop the military exercises at once. Hoguk is aimed to bring down Korean-style socialism and the only beacon of socialism in the world by force of arms and eliminate the world anti-imperialist independent forces. All adherents to the Juche idea and the Songun idea and the world progressives will stand by the DPRK. |
