The book carries works of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and articles under such titles as "Exploits Comrade Kim Jong Il performed by developing in depth the Juche idea" and "Some problems arising in properly understanding the Songun idea."

Present at the book-releasing ceremony were personages of the committee, the Communists' League of Finland, the Finland-Korea Society and masses.

Juha Kieksy, chairman of the committee, in a speech said that he deems it a pride to release the book "Independence" dealing with the ideological and theoretical feats of Kim Jong Il and ideological and theoretical activities of Kim Jong Un.

He renewed his determination to conduct brisk activities for the study and dissemination of the immortal ideological and theoretical fests of Kim Jong Il in the future and make every effort to let the Finnish people have deeper understanding of the Korean people's struggle.
