Present at the events were personages of the Vienna, 21 County Committee of the Communist Party of Austria, the Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Austria, the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany and a university in Angola and masses.

The chairman of the Solidarity Committee of Unionists for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Austria said: Kim Jong Il successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of President Kim Il Sung and devoted his all to the well-being of the Korean people and national prosperity till the last moments of his life. He passed away on a train for field guidance.

The chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany said in a speech Kim Jong Il attached great importance to the development of science and technology, regarding it as the top priority issue, showed great loving care for the intellectuals and placed utmost trust in them.

His loving care for the intellectuals is being inherited by Marshal Kim Jong Un, the chairman noted.

A deputy president of a university of Angola praised Kim Jong Il as a great man who rendered considerable contributions to the prosperity of Korea and the global cause of independence with his extraordinary political caliber and noble personalities, adding that the exploits he performed before the times and people would be immortal.
