Brazilian Figure Denounces U.S. Moves to Create Political Instability in DPRK

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, carried an article titled "Intention of 'human rights' racket against socialist Korea, advocates of deceptive 'dialogue and peace'" on the Brazilian paper Hora do Povo on Nov. 15. The DPR of Korea bitterly denounced the U.S. moves to create political instability in it by abusing international bodies including the UN Human Rights Council under the signboard of "human rights protection", the article said, and went on: No matter how desperately media of world serving the U.S. may spread false report about the DPRK, they can't deny the reality of socialist Korea where the people receive dwelling houses free of charge from the state and enjoy free medical care and free education in the socialist system chosen by themselves. The U.S. secretary of State and other authorities are viciously trying to tarnish the political and moral image of the DPRK over the non-existent "human rights issue" and bring down its socialist system by letting loose reckless remarks to justify their moves to isolate and stifle it. In public the U.S. vociferates about "dialogue and peace" but behind the scene it frantically resorts to the aggressive war drills aggravating the situation on the Korean Peninsula. It does so to mislead the public opinion and thus cover up its true colors oriented to confrontation, not because it is interested in dialogue. If the international community truly hopes for peace in the Asia-Pacific region and reunification of Korea divided by outside forces, it should reject the war drills of the U.S. and south Korea, to begin with. |
