The symposium focused on such issues as separation and incubation, amplification and identification of stem cell and the application of stem cell technology.

At least 30 papers were presented to it. What drew attention were papers on the technology of separating and incubating various kinds of stem cells from different sources, the test on the effect of stem cell transplantation and the advantages of combining stem cell with gene therapy.

There was a technical lecture after the presentation of papers.
