Present there were officials of the local party, power and economic bodies and working people's organizations, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, people from all walks of life, youth and students.

The statement of the NDC of the DPRK was read out. Speeches were made by representatives of the KPA, workers, agricultural workers and youth students.

The speakers said the service personnel and people of the DPRK categorically deny and reject the "human rights resolution" the U.S. and its followers cooked up by abusing the UN, demanding the U.S. make a formal apology for its crime.

They said the U.S. is the sworn enemy of the Korean people who inflicted untold misfortunes and agonies upon them by pursuing various type hostile policies toward the DPRK to isolate it politically, impose economic sanctions upon it and stifle it by force of arms.

They called for wiping out to the very last one the enemies including the U.S. and Park Geun Hye group who are running amuck to bring down the inviolable DPRK highly dignified for its independence and powerful thanks to its self-reliant defence capabilities and self-supporting economy.

They renewed their firm will to turn out in the all-people resistance once supreme leader Kim Jong Un issues an order, and achieve the final victory of Songun Korea in the showdown with the U.S.

The meetings were followed by demonstrations.
