It was attended by scientists, teachers and medical workers in the field of public health studying Kyongrak theory at Pyongyang Medical College of Kim Il Sung University, the Academy of Koryo Medicine, Kang Kon Sariwon Medical Collage and the South Phyongan Provincial People's Hospital.

The meeting heard the elucidation of the origin of Kyongrak theory and dozens of successes and experience gained in treating the incurable diseases by acupuncture and moxibustion.
