Present there were officials of the local party, power and economic bodies and working people's organizations, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, people from all walks of life, youth and students.

The statement of the NDC of the DPRK was read out. Speeches were made by representatives of the KPA servicepersons, workers, agricultural workers and youth and students.

The speakers said the service personnel and people of the DPRK are fully determined to decisively shatter the frantic smear campaign kicked up by the U.S. imperialists, robbers, and their followers.

They will deal deadly retaliatory blows at the U.S. and its followers who are violating the genuine human rights in the DPRK and infringing upon its independence and sovereignty, they noted.

They renewed their will to keep themselves highly alerted as required by the prevailing grave situation and blow up the dens of evils of those forces on the earth if Marshal Kim Jong Un issues an order and thus display fireworks to celebrate victory.

The meetings were followed by demonstrations.
