S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Enact "Law on Human Rights in the North" Denounced

Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet forces recently cried out for bringing the "bill on human rights in the north" up for discussion at the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee of the "National Assembly" to have it carried within this year. Accordingly, the "Saenuri Party" presented a package of five "bills on human rights in the north" to the NA on Nov. 21. A commentary of Rodong Sinmun Saturday says the puppet forces' moves to enact the "law" is the worst politically-motivated provocation as it flatly denies the dignified socialist system in the DPRK and openly declares the confrontation of social systems. It goes on: The "law" is peppered with fraud, conspiracy, plots and deception. It is the unprecedented evil law against the DPRK and a document of political swindle aimed to hurt the fellow countrymen, justify the confrontational policy and push the north-south relations to the extreme phase in a bid to realize the ambition for achieving the unification of the social systems. What should not be overlooked is that the puppet forces' moves to enact the "law" are timed to coincide with the U.S.-led international "human rights" racket against the DPRK. Taking the adoption of the "human rights resolution" against the DPRK at the UN as a golden opportunity for ramming the "bill" through the NA, the south Korean puppet forces have made desperate efforts to achieve their purpose within this year by every possible means. This clearly proves that the puppet forces' moves to enact the "law" is a product of the vicious scheme to isolate and stifle the DPRK in collusion with outsiders as it is a zealous pursuance of the "human rights" offensive against the DPRK. The puppet forces will be held wholly accountable in case the north-south relations are pushed into the uncontrollable catastrophe. |
