Hanging on the front wall of the venue was the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

On display in the venue were works of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un and books introducing Songun Korea.

It was attended by delegates of political parties and organizations in European countries including the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, the Communist Party of Italy, the Socialist Party of Romania, the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), the French Revolutionary Communist League, the Communists' League of Finland, the Communist Party of Malta, the Communist Party of Austria, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Poland-Korea Association and personages of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea.

The participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, made a keynote report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il performed great exploits in all fields including politics, economy, military affairs and culture all his great life.

Recalling that he clarified the theory of Songun politics on the basis of the Juche idea and turned socialist Korea into a worldwide political, ideological and military power which no formidable imperialist aggressor forces dare attack, they noted this was his greatest exploit.

His exploits will last forever, they stressed.

The joint seminar adopted a letter to Kim Jong Un and a joint appeal to the communist parties, workers' parties and other progressive parties and organizations in different countries.
