Four years have passed since the south Korean fascist forces were hit hard by the KPA for firing shells into the inviolable territorial waters of the DPRK from the Yonphyong Island despite the repeated warnings, the statement noted, and went on:

The south Korean puppet group's provocation was prompted by a daydream of defending the illegal "northern limit line".

The revolutionary armed forces of Juche Korea turned the Yonphyong Island, the base for the provocation, into a sea in flames, decisively foiling the enemy's daydream and reckless provocation.

The south Korean puppet group paid a dear price for its foolish behavior.

The Yonphyong Island shelling battle marked a historic event which demonstrated the matchless spirit, mettle and invincible might of the KPA which grew to be the powerful Paektusan army under the care of leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

If the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet group again provoke the DPRK, they will sustain the same heavy defeat as what they did during the Yonphyong Island incident.

The army and people of the DPRK will always emerge victorious under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
