The Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar said:

We received with strong emotion the appeal of the 16th international meeting of communist parties and workers' parties to honor the memory of the great leader HE Kim Jong Il in humblest reverence.

The Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar will organize various political and cultural events to widely introduce among the people of Myanmar the immortal exploits Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence.

And we will positively support the Workers' Party and people of Korea in their just struggle for carrying out the behests of the great President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il under the leadership of the respected HE Kim Jong Un.

The Pakistani committee for honoring the memory of leader Kim Jong Il noted:

Although HE Kim Jong Il passed away, the boundless reverence for him is cherished not only by the Korean people but also by the Pakistani people.

It is the unanimous desire of all of us to significantly organize events for honoring the memory of HE Kim Jong Il.

We call upon all the political parties, organizations and people of Pakistan to honor the memory of him in the humblest reverence.
