Rodong Sinmun Monday in a commentary terms this despicable and hideous politically-motivated terrorism to eliminate the progressive democratic forces from the political arena and thus ruthlessly violate and dampen the south Korean people's desire for independence, democracy and reunification and save the dictatorial rule from the evermore deepening crisis and achieve the security of the regime.

The fact that the freedom of activities of political parties is being ruthlessly trampled down in south Korea in the 21st century is sparking off astonishment of the whole public at home and abroad, the commentary says, adding:

The puppet forces' racket to dissolve the UPP reminds one of the Hitler fascist clique's barbarous action of fabricating the Reichstag Fire and dissolving the Communist Party by force in the last century.

The world does not know such barren land of democracy and tundra of human rights as south Korea where moves to disband the progressive political party are openly allowed.

The puppet group's desperate campaign to dissolve the UPP through a fascist racket for "eliminating the followers of the north" goes to clearly prove that it is hordes of ferocious stranglers of democracy who stoop to any infamy to meet their partisan interests and ensure the security of the regime.
