Shapril Arsiyad, chairman of the Indonesian Federation of Transport Workers Unions, said that Kim Jong Il's is a precious life of a peerless statesman as he made tremendous contributions to the Korean revolution, the human cause of independence and global peace and security.

He went on:

At the most crucial time when the imperialists were steeped in high-handed and arbitrary practices, clamouring about "complete end of socialism", HE Kim Jong Il published "Socialism Is a Science" and other historic works to frustrate their anti-socialist moves and prove the validity of the socialist cause.

And with his unique Songun politics he turned the DPRK into a politico-ideological and military power any formidable enemy dare not provoke.

Though he passed away, his feats and august name will be kept in the mind of progressive mankind forever.

Tin Tun, director of the Myanmar Medical Research Institute, said:

HE Kim Jong Il is a gifted thinker-theoretician and a distinguished leader as he formulated President Kim Il Sung's revolutionary idea as the integral system of idea, theory and method of Juche and reliably defended the DPRK from the imperialist allied forces' frantic moves and built it up as an invincible fortress of socialism based on single-minded unity under the banner of Songun.

Immortal are his extraordinary exploits that contributed to the sacred cause for happiness and prosperity of the Korean people and global peace and security.
