The Myanmar paper The New Age on Nov. 29 devoted two whole pages to articles under the headline "We pay humble reverence to HE Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people on Dec. 17, 2014, the third anniversary of his demise", illustrated with a portrait picturing his smiling image.

The paper in an article titled "Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il and Korea today" said:

He pursued the original Songun politics and performed feats to be recorded forever in history.

He increased the country's military capacity in every way with his energetic Songun leadership.

Under his leadership, the Korean People's Army has thoroughly prepared to be an elite unit of defending socialism and powerful forces equipped with offensive and defensive means strong enough to defeat any aggressors at a single stroke at any time.

The Ethiopian paper Reporter on Nov. 29 carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il, the great master of independent politics" illustrated with the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il. It said that his political philosophy is the Juche idea recognized by the international community as the guiding idea of the cause of independence.

A Bangladeshi paper on Nov. 17 in an article titled "Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism" said that the Korean people are full of faith and will to advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism indicated by Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism
